The Virginia High School League Rating Scale points are used to determine qualification and seeding for region playoffs. Columns listed are for VHSL-recognized games played, points accumulated and average. Each team’s average at the conclusion of the regular season determines its position for the postseason. Games played against non-VHSL-recognized opponents do not factor into the ratings.
Below are the initial ratings for all 24 regions in the VHSL. The VHSL will update the ratings each week.
