Payton Williams was born and raised in Southwest Oklahoma, and worked as a journalist there for several years, covering arts and entertainment, military, and healthcare. He moved to Southwest Virginia in 2022, to continue writing in the shadow of the Appalachians. His major interests include writing, hiking and caving.
In 2015, Boucher established Roanoke College’s annual Basically Tarantino Film Festival. The festival kicks off again in Roanoke on Monday.
