Laura Bargfeld is a multimedia reporter. They recently graduated from Walter Cronkite School
of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University. While there, they worked
as a fellow in the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Southwest Health Reporting Initiative
reporting on health disparities. They also participated in the Cronkite Borderlands Initiative and a News21 Investigation of police reform. Before becoming a journalist, they worked in freelance writing and film production.
