Eleven Virginia High School League teams survived the 2025 regular season undefeated.
This week, they are among 184 teams that begin a five-week pursuit of one of the six VHSL championship games scheduled for Dec. 13.
All six 2024 champions — Oscar Smith (Class 6), Maury (Class 5), Phoebus (Class 4), Liberty Christian (Class 3), Graham (Class 2) and Essex (Class 1) — remain in contention for a repeat title.
However, only Oscar Smith and Liberty Christian are seeded No. 1 in their respective regions.
Most of the first-round games will be played Friday, Nov. 14, with a handful on Saturday.
Below are the pairings in each of the VHSL’s 24 regions:
