The Downtown Lynchburg Association has received $90,000 in state funding for Launch LYH, making it one of three groups statewide to receive funding for programs to train entrepreneurs.

The grants were announced by Gov. Glenn Youngkin.

The Commercial Business Launch program provides funding to offer training to entrepreneurs and conduct business plan competitions that align with local and regional economic development strategies, primarily in Virginia’s downtown commercial districts, according to the governor’s office.
