Chris is a longtime strategic communicator in the region and is chief of staff for Carilion Clinic. His public service includes serving on the Roanoke College President’s Advisory Board, the Virginia Hospital and Healthcare Association’s Hospital Communications Officials Committee and the Virginia Chamber’s Blueprint Virginia 2035 Advisory Council. Previously, he served on the boards of the Science Museum of Western Virginia and Family Service of Roanoke Valley, and was the president of the Public Relations Society of America — Blue Ridge Chapter.
