The Montgomery County Economic Development Authority could vote to approve two undisclosed economic development projects when it meets on Tuesday morning.
The authority will meet at 11:30 a.m. in multipurpose room 2 at the county government center, 755 Roanoke St., Christiansburg.
Members will hold a closed meeting to discuss two economic development projects that have not been publicly disclosed, followed by possible votes in open session on the projects.
Also, the authority will:
— Vote on paying nearly $14,200 to New River Building Supply as part of Hurricane Helene disaster relief efforts.
According to a meeting document, county supervisors and United Way of Southwest Virginia previously entered an agreement to process donations to eligible single-family homeowners who experienced substantial damage to or destruction of the home. United Way designated nearly $19,600 from donations for property repairs in the county.
— Discuss a town of Blacksburg building facade improvement grant.
— Get an update on phase two of construction at the Falling Branch corporate park.
— Get an update on county broadband expansion projects.
