Henry County supervisors will receive the report during their 3 p.m. regular session on Tuesday at the county administration building.
The report includes updates on facilities, including Commonwealth Crossing, which lies near the North Carolina-Virginia border and is home to companies including Press Glass.
Currently, construction at the center continues under Haymes Construction. Earlier this year, Henry County awarded a construction contract to Haymes for infrastructure work.
The report details that Haymes Construction is 35% complete with grading the second lot. Lot grading entails flattening it and preparing for water, sewer and electric connectivity.
The report also states that staff is working alongside the North Carolina Department of Transportation for improvements to North Carolina’s portion of U.S. 220, which runs alongside the center.
County officials are considering improvements to Riverview Park. Located in Axton, the engineering report reveals county staff are “researching grant opportunities” to develop the park.
Various water line extension projects are also part of the report. The project, titled the Rangely Water Line Extension Project, is in its early phases.
“The Lane Group continues work on the Preliminary Engineering Report to extend water service to the Rangeley community,” reads the report.
The Rangeley Water Line Extension Project is one of several ongoing water extension projects in Henry County.
