Henna design, snorkeling and adaptive musical theatre in the NRV? Absolutely. Youth of all ages can explore sports, science, arts, nature and more at upcoming summer camps.

Parks and Recreation camps

• Blacksburg Parks and Recreation offers the broadest variety of camps in the NRV including fashion design and modeling, mountain biking and Epic Engineering Disasters.

• Christiansburg Parks and Recreation offers summer programs for children ages 1-17, including preschool gymnastics, karate, Scouting America merit badge courses and stand-up paddleboarding. Christiansburg also offers FINS summer camp with 1-2 hours of swim time each day at the Christiansburg Aquatic Center.

• Montgomery County Parks and Recreation is hosting Frog Hoppers Camp with all-day arts, crafts, nature activities, hikes and sports.

• Pulaski County Parks and Recreation is hosting its Randolph Park Summer Camp with time at the Evelyn Alexander Waterpark each morning and a variety of activities in the afternoon.

• Floyd County Parks and Recreation has not yet published summer camp information. However, registration for a new summer youth flag football league is open with options for rising 2^nd-7^th graders.

The June Bug Center for Arts and Education camps

The June Bug Center is a nonprofit organization in Floyd offering weeklong camps in many activities including robotics, strings, henna design, coding, musical theatre and collaborative storytelling.
