The committee planning the inauguration for Gov.-elect Abigail Spanberger has announced a ticket lottery for the limited seating at the Jan. 17 swearing-in at the State Capitol.
Virginians who would like to attend the Inauguration of the 75th Governor of Virginia can enter the ticket lottery at spanbergerinauguration.com.
The event is outdoors at noon. With the parade that follows, the event typically lasts an hour or more.
As part of the inauguration weekend festivities, Spanberger is also sponsoring a one-day “Made in Virginia” market on Jan. 15 in Richmond, where businesses from across the state can showcase “goods, services, and experiences made and offered” in the state.
This event at the 17th Street Market is open to the public. Virginia vendors, merchants and businesses interested in reserving a booth at the market must email market@spanbergerinauguration.com.
